During NYSTEC's Population Health Innovation Summit in Albany, 250+ health care, government, and technology leaders gathered around one theme: Strengthening Social Connection.

CBS Albany asked for my take on the Summit and social care. 

My answer came back to what we do every day at HappyTalks - building consistent, human-centered touchpoints that older adults can genuinely look forward to. Weekly calls. Handwritten notes. Care packages. Trained companions who show up with intention.

Connection doesn't happen by accident. It has to be designed, resourced, and delivered.
